The Mayor of Nis, PhD Zoran Perisic today warned thecitizens that in the next 12 hours, in the territory of Nis District, is expected local disasters of such intensity that can cause extensive damage and can be very dangerous for the safety of people and animals.

"It is expected that local thunderstorm with hail, rainfall over 40 liters per square meter for a period of 12 hours, which according to the degree of danger is - a very dangerous weather," read the warning Perisic reporters at City Hall, breaking the official protocol of the conference. Under the label - very dangerous weather- the forecast is especially dangerous weather phenomena, and such an intensity that can cause extensive damage and can be very dangerous for the safety of people and animals. As we learned from Boban Džunić in Palilula Municipality on this occasion, the emergency meeting of the Municipal Council and municipal headquarters for emergency situations was held.
